The Creative Changemakers Fellowship (CCMF) is a fellowship designed to nurture creatives who use storytelling, media and art to drive civic engagement, democratic participation, and social change. Creatives are increasingly essential for shaping narratives, driving civic engagement, demanding accountability, and mobilising citizens, particularly as Nigeria and the broader African continent navigate shrinking civic space, escalating misinformation, governance hurdles.
This fellowship will bring together 15 emerging creatives who have shown passion about civic engagement, accountability, transparency, and making governance work for the people through their content creative ideas.
The fellowship blends virtual learning, in‑person creative labs, mentorship, and hands-on production to ensure fellows not only learn but also actively produce evidence-based work that speaks to real social issues.
Fellowship Eligibility:
- Be a Nigerian
- Passionate about social, and civic Issues in Nigeria,
- Evidence of using media for mass action and awareness,
- Be ready to commit to a 3-month hybrid fellowship and 8hours weekly sessions.
Program Duration:
- September to November, 2026
