About Eco_Cyclers
Eco_cyclers is a youth-led initiative that is solving the issues of indiscriminate waste littering and a lack of recycling culture evident amongst people in Enugu State. Eco_cyclers uses a low-cost technology & an incentivized system of return packages to promote behavioral patterns while driving climate action by Finding solutions to the problems of environmental degradation in our communities.
Our Mantra is to put people first and the planet before Profit.
About Ogechi Nwonye-Bernard
Ogechi is an Environmental advocate and a social Entrepreneur focusing on promoting positive behavioural change in waste management while driving climate action. She is an ardent volunteer with over 6 years of experience and expertise in environmental sustainability for young people in Enugu State, Nigeria.
She holds a first degree from the Prestigious University of Nigeria and a Master's in International Law and Diplomacy from the University of Lagos, Akoka. She is an Academy for Women Entrepreneurs Alumni, a US Mission in Nigeria initiative, she is a Leap Africa Fellow, a Womenpreneur Alumni of Access Bank initiative, and a Global Change Maker fellow.
