About Ayomide Alao
Ayomide Alao is the Founder of Reformers of Africa, a civic tech organisation advancing digital governance reform, government accountability, and citizen participation through data, research, and technology.
Under his leadership, the organisation developed and launched Citizens Watch, a government accountability platform, and is now building the Nigeria Digital Governance Index (NDGI). The index assesses how governments use digital platforms to inform and engage citizens and provide them with services, using the evidence generated to assist policy makers in identifying effective pathways for digital governance reform.
Ayomide is an Associate Fellow of the Royal Commonwealth Society and a recipient of the African Young Leadership Award. He has an academic background in public administration, business administration, and strategic leadership, with qualifications from Ahmadu Bello University, Nexford University, and Covenant University.
