Civic Hive is the innovation center of BudgIT, founded in 2017, to help accelerate anyone who has a passion and a plan to create a solution to the social problems around. In a bid to create lasting solutions that connect citizens and government, For the past 9 months, the CivicHive fellowship program has been making an impact in the social public space.

On January 27, 2018. We had the Demo day, which sole aim is to showcase the wonderful and selfless works the fellows have been engaged in this whole time.

The plan was to bring in people from all different works of life, who have the passion for contributing to making sure civic problems are solved with solutions that are driven by technology.

In addition, to also bring massive awareness to the populace on the successes the fellows have been able to achieve on the 9-month journey.

The Demo day was successful, with about 30 people in attendance, the fellows were able to take the stage in turns and give a general overview of their works and the impact their works have generated in a short time.

The attendees were amazed by the stories they heard from the fellows. Interacting with journalists present at the event, they were shocked that a group of small people is making so many impacts, Adaze came all the way from Asaba for the Demo day, she was moved by the dedication that has been put into the work done so far.

The attendees were able to ask specific questions relating to each fellow, interests were so high from the attendees and it took us 45 min to be able to answer all the questions asked.
