Oluwaseun Muraina is a real estate surveyor, researcher, and lecturer with over a decade of multidisciplinary experience spanning academia, industry, and development practice. Her work focuses on sustainable housing and infrastructure finance, climate resilience, urban regeneration, and inclusive development. She holds advanced degrees in Estate Management and Real Estate Finance from the University of Lagos and Henley Business School, University of Reading, UK. She is currently completing her PhD in Sustainable Urbanisation as a DAAD scholar under the WITS-TUB-UNILAG Urban Lab.

A recipient of multiple awards, grants, and international scholarships, Oluwaseun has contributed to transdisciplinary projects with partners such as the Lagos State Resilience Office, Rockefeller Foundation, Heinrich Böll Stiftung, and the African Cities Research Consortium. Her research is published in leading peer-reviewed journals and has been presented at academic and policy conferences across Africa and Europe. She is a member of several global scholarly networks, including ARUA, ACRC, ICASC, AIRACC, and ITD-Alliance. She serves in editorial and peer review roles within the housing and urban development space.

Beyond academia, she is the Team Lead at MentorMe Nigeria, a mentorship platform empowering young Nigerians through structured, one-on-one mentoring. She leads program design, coordination, and impact tracking with a focus on youth development and professional growth. Passionate about civic engagement, knowledge co-production, resilience-building and evidence-based policy, she blends academic rigour with policy insight and community-centred experience in her advisory and leadership roles.
